This Refund Policy applies to all subscription payments made to Zeeno Tech for the ZeenoSchool platform. For student fee payments collected through the platform on behalf of schools, please contact your school directly as those are governed by the school's own fee policy.
1. Scope of This Policy
This policy covers two types of payments on ZeenoSchool:
- Platform Subscription Fees: Fees paid by schools to Zeeno Tech for using the ZeenoSchool software. This policy governs refunds for these payments.
- School Fee Payments: Fees paid by parents/students to their school via ZeenoSchool's payment module. These are collected on behalf of the school — refunds for these are governed by the respective school's fee policy. Zeeno Tech is only the payment facilitator.
2. Subscription Refund Policy
2.1 Free Trial Period
ZeenoSchool offers a free trial period for new schools. No payment is required during the trial. You can explore all features before committing to a subscription.
✅ If you cancel during the free trial period, no charges are applied and no refund is needed.
2.2 Refund Eligibility by Time Period
The following table summarizes refund eligibility for subscription payments:

3. Circumstances for Full Refund
A full refund will be issued regardless of time period in the following circumstances:
- Duplicate Payment: If you were charged twice for the same subscription period.
- Technical Failure: If you were charged but the platform was completely inaccessible for more than 72 consecutive hours due to our fault.
- Unauthorized Transaction: If a payment was made without your authorization (subject to verification).
- Service Not Delivered: If we failed to activate your account within 5 business days of payment without valid reason.
✅ In all above cases, please raise a refund request within 15 days of the transaction. Requests beyond this window may not be entertained.
4. Non-Refundable Items
The following are strictly non-refundable:
- Setup fees or onboarding fees (if applicable)
- Custom development or integration charges
- SMS credits or notification packs purchased separately
- Training and on-site support charges
- Subscription fees for periods already consumed
- Discounted or promotional plan payments
⚠️ Accounts suspended or terminated due to violation of our Terms of Service are not eligible for any refund.
5. Refund for School Fee Payments (Parent/Student)
If a parent or student has paid school fees through the ZeenoSchool payment portal:
- Zeeno Tech acts only as a payment facilitator on behalf of the school.
- Refund decisions are entirely at the discretion of the school.
- Parents/students must contact their school directly for fee refund requests.
- In case of a confirmed technical error (e.g., double debit by the payment gateway), Zeeno Tech will assist in coordinating with Razorpay for reversal within 7–10 business days.
📌 For payment gateway errors, please email us at care@zeenoschool.in with your transaction ID and school details within 48 hours of the transaction.
6. Refund Process
To request a refund, follow these steps:
Submit a Refund Request
Email us at care@zeenoschool.in with subject line "Refund Request – [Your School Name]". Include your registered email, transaction ID, date of payment, and reason for refund.
Acknowledgement
We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and provide a reference number for tracking.
Review & Verification
Our team reviews the request against our policy. We may contact you for additional information. Review is completed within 5–7 business days.
Decision & Processing
You will be notified of the decision. If approved, the refund is processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method.
Credit to Account
Refunds via Razorpay typically reflect in your bank account or card within 5–10 business days after processing, depending on your bank.
7. Mode of Refund
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase:
- Credit/Debit Card payments → refunded to the same card
- Net Banking payments → refunded to the originating bank account
- UPI payments → refunded to the linked UPI account
- Wallets → refunded to the same wallet
Cash refunds or refunds to a different account are not possible.
8. Disputes
If you are dissatisfied with our refund decision, you may escalate by emailing care@zeenoschool.in with "Refund Dispute" in the subject. We will review escalated disputes within 10 business days. For unresolved disputes, please refer to the dispute resolution mechanism in our Terms of Service.
